The Japanese series ‘Magi’, filmed in Salamanca, premieres this Thursday on Amazon

It is made up of ten chapters. The localization and advisory work carried out by the Salamanca Film Commission has allowed this production to be attracted to the city, which is part of the celebrations of the 8th centenary of the University of Salamanca.

Salamanca has had a very filmy 2018. To the recordings of the films ‘Murder at the University’, already released; and Alejandro Amenábar’s new ‘While the war lasts’, other international series and films were added.

One of them was ‘Magi: The Tensho Embassy’, the Japanese series that will be released this Thursday through the Amazon Prime multimedia channel, which broadcasts exclusively in 180 countries around the world. This, filmed by the Barcelona production company b-mount Film and the Japanese TBS Vision Inc and Cross Media, will show Salamanca through several chapters of the film, which will also show Valladolid and Cádiz.
