6.9 million euros: this is the amount that the Generalitat will allocate in 2024 to guarantee that the existence of films originally shot in a different language dubbed into Catalan or, also, with subtitles in Ramon Lull’s language on the different platforms streaming and also in theaters. The most cinephiles, however, have always indicated that cinema is best enjoyed in its original language; However, in this case, the Government has chosen to meet the demands of the majority of the Catalan-speaking population, accustomed to watching movies and series dubbed or, in any case, subtitled.
